OudArs began with a simple belief — the things we use every day should be honest, beautiful and made to last.
Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh has been known for its woodwork for generations. Walk through its older lanes and you will hear saws, chisels and sanding blocks at work in small family workshops. That is where every OudArs piece begins.

Our name brings together Oud — a nod to precious, fragrant wood — and Ars, the Latin word for art. Wood, shaped as art, for everyday life.
